I’m all about easy breakfasts. I’m getting two kids ready for school by myself, and I like to make sure they eat before they head out the door. That means I’m not making a 4 course breakfast. However, Eggo products are something they both enjoy eating!
We recently got to try out Kellogg’s Eggo FiberPlus Waffles. I’ve got one word for you: YUMMY! Or as my three year old said, “yummy in my tummy”. The Eggo FiberPlus Waffles provide an excellent source of fiber — you get 35% of the daily recommend value in every serving. The FiberPlus Waffles comes in two flavors: Buttermilk and Chocolate Chip. The buttermilk variety offers 35% of the recommended daily value of calcium (since I am lactose intolerant, I’m always looking for products that give an extra kick of calcium. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see this with these waffles!), and the chocolate chip variety provides 20% of the recommended daily value of the antioxidants vitamin E and zinc. Both varieties are also an excellent source of 10 or more vitamins and minerals.
